The varsity track team competed at the Cardinal Classic today in Dryden.  Overall, the girls placed 2nd and the boys placed 3rd. HERE are the overall results.  Below are a few individual highlights:

Girls:

- Carina Burchi won the 1600 with a time of 5:26:05 (PR)

- The team of Burchi, Natalie Meadows, Sofia Robertson, and Elodie Weaver won the 4 x 800

- Burchi and Meadows finished 1st/2nd in the 800

- Meadows and Weaver finished 1st/3rd in the 3200.  Weaver set a new PR with a time of 14:10:69

- Emma Buckler, Savannah Gardner, Savanna Pomorski, and Joey Wilson finished 2nd in the 4x100

- Emma Buckler, Savannah Gardner, Savanna Pomorski, and Mackenzie Williams finished 2nd in the 4x200

- Burchi, Robertson, Pomorski, and Wilson finished 2nd in the 4x400

- Weaver, Burchi, Robertson, and Meadows finished 1st in the 4 x 800

- Wilson finished 2nd in high jump

- Kimberlee finished 1st in pole vault

Boys:

- Pancome Rainis won the long jump

- Dan Birmingham, Landen Livingston, Thomas Hunt, and Braylan Majesky won the 4 x 800

- Dan Birmingham, Landen Livingston, Thomas Hunt, and Ronaldo Rivas finished 2nd in the  4 x 400

- Braylan Majesky finished 2nd in the 1600 and 1st in the 800
