What a game between our Trojans and the visiting Irish from Father Gabriel Richard. After falling behind 16-0 at the half. The Trojans started to flex their muscle on both sides of the ball. Scoring early in the 3rd quarter made it a one-score contest. With 8:12 remaining, lightning forced a 2 hr delay and eventually led to a postponement.
After resuming on Saturday at 2:00 PM, the Trojans punched in their first play making the score 14-16. The following possession, the Irish converted 2 third downs on their way to a score extending their lead to 22-14. On their final offensive possession of the game, the Trojans marched 80 yards for 6.
