WHAT A NIGHT! On Friday, November 1st, the football team defeated Father Gabriel Richard 45-26 to win their first playoff game since 2006. They also matched the team’s highest win total in a season with eight victories for the first time since going 8-2 in 2008.

Now, they’ll get an opportunity to match the school record for wins with a matchup against Dearborn Heights Robichaud, who squeaked by Dundee 29-28 on Friday. The two will square off on November 8th for the district championship.  Below are stats from Friday's game:

Rushing Stats: 42 carries for 492 yards

Cole Henning: 9 carries for 65 yards

Evan Romeo: 13 carries for 134 yards and 3 touchdowns

Logan Kurth: 17 carries for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns

Evan Vaughan: 3 carries for 13 yards

Passing:

Zachary Brady: 1 for 2, 25 yards and a touchdown

Receiving:
Kurth: 1 catch for 25 yards and a touchdown

On Saturday, November 2nd, our boys cross country team along with Brooke Craven and Lauren Price, competed at the MHSAA State Championships at Michigan International Speedway.  At the end of the day, the boys placed 18th overall (of 28 teams).  Toop finishers included Clay Rinna (59th), Cole Rinna (110th), Braylan Majeski (122nd), Bailey Adams (154th) and Jacob Goodrich (196th).  

For the girls, Brooke Craven ran a fantastic race and placed 28th (20:38) and received All-State honors.  Lauren Price placed 147th (of 238 participants).
